The Faculty Consultation Committee is one of the consultation bodies at AAU. Above the Faculty Consultation Committee is the Main Joint Consultation Committee, and below is the Departmental consultation committee. The Faculty Consultation Committee thus deals with issues that belong at the faculty level. 

The consultation committee is tasked with promoting good cooperation between staff and management. 

The consultation committee is responsible for establishing general frameworks and guidelines for the working conditions and staff affairs at Aalborg University through a high level of reciprocal information and ongoing dialogue. The basis for the work of the consultation committee is stipulated in the agreement on consultation committees.
